Communication

Communication: Essential to Your Success

Tyra and his staff takes a realistic, positive and goal-oriented approach to your rehabilitation, one that begins with communication. The time you spend talking together helps Tyra learn about you and your goals. Whether you want to return to work, to your golf game or simply live independently, what you want your life to be determines much about your prosthetic and or orthotic care.

You’ll also be encouraged to ask lots of questions and get as much information and guidance as possible. The more you know about your prosthesis or orthosis, the more success you’ll have in using it. This emphasis on communication also helps your developing relationship with Tyra — a relationship that he values and one that will benefit you for years to come.

Hope Starts With Compassion, Support & Information

Everyone responds differently to losing a limb or experiencing an injury.  Some people are able to quickly accept their situation, while others find themselves depressed or feeling hopeless. And of course there are ups and downs. Tyra is here for you through it all, with a deeper understanding of your concerns than you might think possible.

Over the years, he’s seen all kinds of people in similar situations work through their fear, deal with their sense of loss and go on to achieve satisfying, fulfilling lives. Giving you the same opportunity means providing you with the necessary resources, both emotional and physical. You’ll learn all about your prosthesis or orthosis and how to use it, but you’ll get so much more — confidence, motivation and hope — so you can move on with your life.

Quality Innovative Devices

Quality Innovative Devices

Quality Innovative Services for Every Need

The quality of the materials and workmanship that go into your new prosthesis or orthosis will have a big impact on your results. That’s why Tyra relies on componentry from leading manufacturers who use the latest materials and most advanced products. By working closely with you, your physician and your therapist, he’ll select the right device for you or custom design a device then cast and fit your limb or body with the utmost precision and skill.

While it may take getting used to, your prosthetic or orthotic device should be relatively comfortable and functional. It’s supposed to be a help, not a hindrance. Tyra never stops working to make sure you are completely satisfied with your new prosthetic limb or orthotic device. He’ll make ongoing adjustments and modifications, as often as necessary, to give you the best possible results.

Here at Innovative Prosthetic Solutions, Inc. we provide for virtually every prosthetic and orthotic need; however, Tyra has a special interest in lower extremity prosthetics. He’s skilled and experienced with all types of leg and foot prostheses and is certified to fit the “C-leg, Rheo and Plie knees.” These devices represent a new age in prosthetics; it’s a highly innovative prosthetic limb that incorporates a microprocessor-controlled hydraulic knee. This technology gives the individual with an above-the-knee amputation a remarkable ability to walk again, more naturally than with most prosthetic devices available today.

We offer the latest in orthotic devices from the world’s leading manufacturers of orthopedic devices. These help restore balance, correct movement and position and protect your body from injury. Tyra custom-designs orthotic devices for a variety of needs, including:• cerebral palsy (CP) • post-stroke complications (CVA) • multiple sclerosis (MS) • brain or spinal cord injuries (SCI)  â€¢ head trauma • fractures • back or neck injuries • postsurgical rehabilitation and other diagnoses.
